ArchivalResource

Scrapbooks and other records, 1932-1941.

Four chronologically arranged scrapbooks relating to the 1932-1941 polo seasons of the Twin Cities Polo Association, organized in the 1920s as the Twin City Polo Club, during a particularly active decade of its existence. The newspaper clippings, photographs, event programs, and bulletins in the scrapbooks document matches and tournaments, team members and their ponies, and spectators. The scrapbooks, which were kept by Thomas L. Daniels, a club founder and team captain, also document the polo activities of Daniels' sons, especially those of John H. Daniels.
